PI MotorSPORTS, Inc. Analysis of
this unique car:
We have seen a number of Panteras on the track, in our shop, in
shows and garages that were prepared for racing. Sadly, most
examples that we view are hardly fit to make a trip to the
supermarket much less around a high speed racing circuit. We have
all heard of, or worse yet, viewed Panteras that have been involved
in on-track mishaps before. People can get hurt and the media loves
to show Panteras in distress! The Pantera was not built as a race
car even though it looks like a swoopy GT40. It takes a lot of work,
$$ and engineering to prepare a safe car and one that has a decent
chance of performing. Most Pantera owners are not professional race
car drivers and few have handled a 500 plus horsepower car at speeds
of over 150 mph or more, wheel to wheel racing. This is the
type of car we would like to see owners prepare to race. It gives
the marque a good name and this car will begin packing your trophy
case plus you will have one hell of a lot of fun piloting it! All of
the components selected are top notch and damn expensive. The
owner/driver of this car knows his way around racing and Panteras.
This car was his ultimate triumph and now you can purchase it. If
you have a stock/modified Pantera and you want to go racing and
perhaps obtain sponsorship, consider trading your car in on this
one. Do anything you have to to buy this car if you plan on
racing!
Give us a call if you have any more questions. Thanks, Jerry
and Dave |
