After 30+ years of storage by the original owner, a Ford executive, this possibly, historically significant Pantera has surfaced with only 14,776 miles on her. One of the most original, survivor cars we have ever offered for sale. With a proper restoration, this car could be a major show contender or land in a museum. Don't rule out seeing her return to street use either!

	Recently, a 1957 Plymouth was unearthed from a time-capsule in Oklahoma. This drew a lot of immediate attention, having been buried for 50 years. Sadly, the car was a humongous rust bucket due to leakage. This special Pantera, was not in a time capsule and is only 36 years old, however, in the Pantera world, this artifact is of far more interest and in surprisingly good condition.
	DeTomaso historians should be as excited as we are about this low-mileage, totally original Pantera.
	One owner car. The original owner was a Ford executive who purchased this car from Ford. It is believed this is the same car that Alejandro DeTomaso posed with in the above photograph.
	The car was driven for a few years and then put into storage at his residence for approximately 30 years.
	The car is very original down to its Pirelli tires.
	Raised letter Campagnolo wheels. Collapsible spare and original LM style mirros.
	Original paint.
	Some scrapes, dings and minor dents that can all be easily fixed. We have already used our paintless dent removal service and removed the majority of all defects. This car would clean up nicely with minimal bodywork and touch up. In our judgment it does not need a repaint despite its age unless the new owner desires a show car finish.
	Radiator rebuilt. Hoses, cooling tubes and needed components replaced.
	Sharp edge bumperettes and flat decklid
	Original steering wheel and pad.
	Excellent interior.
	This vehicle is drivable. We replaced the carburetor and fuel pump and serviced the power-train. The brake system has been serviced and all fluids changed.
	In our 11 years of sales, this is not the lowest mileage car we have ever offered sale, however, it is one of the least driven cars and one of the most original ones. This is a perfect candidate for a full restoration, especially when considering its interesting history potential and one owner status. Have fun and research the history yourself through Ford.
	A restoration should not be all too difficult considering the excellent condition of the car.
